In my personal statement, I tell a story about coming to the realization that I intend to work in my home state after finishing law school (specifically in public policy). I talk about my experience in policy and how law school will further those goals. My question is–will law schools outside of my home state see that as a negative? I am applying broadly across the T14, and I don’t want it to read as having limited myself in terms of the schools I would consider attending. The statement is simply about work after graduating.
