So I really underperformed on the LSAT – I got a 163 when I was PTing at 168-172 [nerves on test day]. I retook today and the odds were not in my favor, and I misbubbled a section, so I’m thinking about canceling my score. I’m still in undergrad, but my current GPA is 3.98. I’m MA female, and I really can’t take a gap year [personal circumstances would prevent me from doing so]. any advice on where I should apply? I was hoping to apply to the lower T-14 and I have fee waivers from almost every T-25, so not sure what’s best/if it is worth it

While it seems like you did underperform, I would definitely NOT hesitate from applying to the entire T-14 if you can afford it. Speaking both from my personal cycle as well as information I’ve gathered from other URM members on here with similar numbers, you would probably get into a few T-25s and have a shot at some T-14s. Evidence? I have a slightly higher LSAT but a significantly lower GPA than you and I am in at Duke with an interview for Columbia later this week.

I think that Effingham was saying that there are no reverse splitters, just people who need to retake.
